Policies
Refund & changes
Airline tickets are subject to the fare rules of the carrier that issues your ticket. Travel Asia will help you understand those rules and submit change or refund requests on your behalf where permitted.
Before you travel
- Refundable fares: airline refund minus airline penalties and any non-refundable taxes or surcharges
- Non-refundable fares: typically no cash refund; airline credit or tax refund may apply in some cases
- Changes: date or route changes depend on fare class; airline change fees and fare difference may apply
- Travel Asia service fee: generally non-refundable once ticketing or change processing has started
Schedule changes and disruptions
If an airline changes or cancels your flight, we will contact you with options provided by the carrier. Significant schedule changes may entitle you to a refund under airline policy even on restrictive fares.
How to request help
Look up your booking on Manage booking and email Email our flights team or call +64 26 600 0017 with your booking reference. Have your itinerary and passenger names ready.
Cooling-off
Once an airline ticket is issued, standard airline fare rules apply. New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act remedies may apply where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill; airline carriage remains subject to carrier conditions and international conventions.
